Sorry I haven't posted an update sooner. We have had several people wondering. As of right now, Dylan is doing pretty good, no fever for right now. Yesterday, Dylan started having some diarrhea, which is the first sign of symptoms we have seen with the high fevers. Everyday now since Wed his fever appears to be gone in the morning but by about 3 in the afternoon it will start coming back. By about 5 it is usually back up to 103 or higher. He has not been sleeping well at night, in turn we don't sleep as well either. We are hoping he is getting over it and will not have his fever return today. So far Alexa seems to be completely healthy, so that is wonderful!!
I did call Dylan's doctor yesterday to see if we needed to bring him back in. His doctor said he was relieved to hear that Dylan was having diarrhea now. He said if he was jut having the high fevers with no symptoms he would want us to bring him back in right away to run some tests. He said that if he still continues to have the high fever and the diarrhea goes away then we do need to bring him in. The diarrhea seems to have stopped so we will see if the fever comes back again later today...if it does I am sure we will be taking him in again. Thanks for all the prayers!
