Vacation to the Dells!

So it is beyond time for an update! I can't believe I have gone this long without updating! My Mom and Todd blessed us with a trip to the Wisconsin Dells for our Christmas present. We were there from Jan 9-15th and had an amazing time!! They got us a week at a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. It was nice having a full kitchen so we could save money and also eat better by cooking in the condo rather then going out for every meal. We did quite a bit while we were gone. We went shopping, went to an indoor amusement park, went to an indoor water park, and lots of sight seeing. We had a great time!

My Mom is here visiting right now, she got here last Tuesday and will stay through this week. We are having a great time with her here. It means a lot to have her here this week. This week is a hard week for our family. Today is the due date of our first baby we lost this past summer. Wednesday is Kyle's 21st birthday. So a very tough and emotional week. I have already shed many tears, so it is nice to have my mom here to comfort me as well.

Well, here are some pictures from our vacation....

The kids in their bedroom at the condo
Our bedroom

At the indoor amusement park

The swimming pool at our resort

The view out our back window...

On the 6 story Ferris wheel

Getting ready to race go carts

Eating dessert one night, Dylan thought he needed to sit ON the table to get to the dessert! Pretty cute! But of course not something we would normally let him get away with!!

Daddy playing at the indoor play area! I caught him about to go down the slide! :)

Playing at the indoor water park...VERY fun! Alexa was very big going down lots of BIG watersides all by herself!

The lazy river where Mommy and Dylan spent most of the day just floating around....
Dylan exhausted on the way back to the condo after playing at the water park that morning. We went back for naps and then came back for more fun!

Fun times in the kitchen!!

Cute little shops downtown. Granted most of them were closed due to it being winter...but it was still fun to walk around.

Making stuffed animals at Build A Bear Workshop Alexa made a Hello Kitty and Dylan made a monkey...big surprise there!
Waiting patiently for his turn! Pretty cute!

Driving to and from the Dells we passed Wyoming, WI and saw this....being from Wyoming we had to take a picture!!

We had a wonderful time!! Thank you so much Mom and Todd! It was so nice to get away and having something fun to do after Christmas. It was nice to get away just the 4 of us and away from the things that would be coming later this month. If you think of us this week, please pray for our family.

#1. I am loving me some moose hats.
#2. What did Greg stand on to get the view of you all in the kitchen.
#3. I love, love, love build a bear. We took my grandmother to the one outside of Denver, she didn't have much fun until we insisted that her bear needed some old fashioned undies, then she laughed and laughed...

how funny the word verification for my comment is "unninies"
