I know there are a TON of pictures in this post. Between pictures and videos we took 916!! So this is really the condensed version! It was very hard to pick and choose which pictures to post.
Our first stop on our trip was in Cheyenne to visit my Mom, Todd, my brother Michael and his family, and to also bring Jennifer back home. We enjoyed our time with everyone and the kids really enjoyed playing with their cousin Joshua. Actually, right now while I am typing this Alexa is telling me that "next week Joshua is going to come visit. So, I really need to clean the house since he is going to come stay with me!" She is a hoot and clearly misses her cousin!!

One morning we took the kids to the Cheyenne Library to play. It is WONDERFUL! So many fun things to do there.

Our next stop was camping with our families at the lake. The main purpose of this trip was to spread some of my brother Kyle's ashes. As a family we loved camping and boating so we figured this was the perfect place to spread his ashes, but very hard to do. He will be forever missed!Here is Alexa with her Grandma Nani on the boat
We had a great time camping with Greg's Mom and step dad Gary, Greg's sister Kristi and brother-in-law Andy, and my Dad and step mom Nancy. It was so nice having all of us together. The kids got spoiled big time like always with lots of hugs, attention, and even lots of new fun toys!! Thank you everyone for all the wonderful food and everything!!

Alexa was playing hide n' go seek with Grandpa....a little hard to do in their camper, but they did it! Pretty cute!

Here are the kids on my Kyle's memorial table. This picture doesn't do it justice. The table is beautiful and so is the concrete my Dad worked VERY hard on. It is nice to have a place in memory of Kyle.

After leaving the park this night we went to my friend Raeann's house. She was one of my best friends in junior high. It was so nice to see her again and meet her husband and two beautiful little boys. It is always so neat to reconnect with old friends!!

While in Rapid of course we had to go to Story Book Island!
and have ice cream.......
and ride the train!
Then later that day we went to Chapel in the hills. Beautiful!!

That night we went to dinner with my good friend Amber and her little boy Koby. After dinner we went out to Dinosaur park for the kids to play.

We bought the kids stuffed animals. Do you think Dylan liked his? This is how he carried his all the way to van, pretty cute!!
At Reptile Gardens
I know I look like a dork, but I was acting like I was being squeezed. If you look closely at the picture below you will see that the sign says something about being squeezed. So I was pretending to be squeezed!
That night we went to a chuck wagon dinner. This is the same one we went to last year with Greg's family. As we walked in this night Alexa says, "I went here before with Grandpa and Grandma!" She had remembered from last year! Talk about an amazing memory!!
The next day we headed to Keystone. We were waiting for the train to get there so we could ride on the 1880's train. This is how Dylan spent his time waiting. Boys will be boys!!
And this is how our little princess waited! Typical Alexa!
Here comes the train!!

That night we stopped by Wall Drug
Alexa kept saying she wanted her picture taken with the "princess" it took us forever to figure out what "princess" she was talking about. So here is the "princess" and Alexa!
Classic Wall Drug
You can't go to the Black Hills and not get an Old Time photo taken! The kids were ADORABLE in their little costumes and they both enjoyed getting to dress us. My husband looked pretty handsome too!!
On the way home we stopped in Mitchell and had lunch with our friends Becki (and her husband Travis and son Maxton) and Brenda. Brenda was my roommate my sophmore year of college. It had been a long time since I had seen her, so it was great to see her again!!

Greg went back to work last night and also started classes again. Thankfully he will be done the week before Thanksgiving...so we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Alexa started gymnastics again yesterday and I am looking at getting Dylan in tumbling. Alexa will start dance next week as well. She is VERY excited for dance and everyday asks me when it will start. The middle of September the kids and I will be doing MOPS.
I am also going to be starting up our at home preschool program for both kids. Alexa will actually go to preschool next year and then start kindergarten the year after. Both kids are growing up so very fast!!
It was so good to see all of you that we did!! Thank you everyone for everything and making our family feel so loved!
